A/W ’11 Trend Alert! – Velvet
Rosie Huntington-Whitley has been rocking the Velvet trend recently, no longer is it associated with an older look but chic, sophisticated Winter style. Design house Givenchy’s Ready To Wear Paris catwalk show was full of typically edgy styles using Velvet to add texture along with prints, leather and sheers.
If you’re feeling less daring team your Velvet bodycon dress with simple stilletoes, keeping accessories to a minimum like Rosie. For a more adventurous look combine velvet legging with contrasting fabrics, try sheers, satins and bold statement jumpers.
