1. The XX in residence!
After achieving the dizzying heights of success with their No1 album Co-Exist, the XX are planning something special for the Manchester International Festival this year.
With a series of intimate gigs in an as yet, unspecified venue (the capacity of each gig will not exceed 100) what better way to get better acquainted with the atmospheric and dream-like dulcet tones of this ethereal indie powerhouse!

2. Discover one of the most celebrated pop artists of the 20th Century and get yourself down to the Lowry for the, Peter Blake and Pop Music exhibition (currently open untill the 24th of February).
Haven’t heard of him before? Peter is responsible for one of the most famous album covers of all time….
